The only one that I'm familiar with is "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory," so that would make it my favorite Roald Dahl book. My favorite character would be the eccentric Willy Wonka.

I really like Matilda, both the book and character.
I've also enjoyed reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, The BFG, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, George's Marvelous Medicine, Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, The Magic Finger, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More, and My Uncle Oswald.

I'm kinda partial to, Danny, Champion of the World. My name is Daniel, so growing up it was a favorite. I also like, The Umbrella Man. Of course I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Great Glass Elevator, The Witches, Boy, Henry Sugar and Six More, The B.F.G., The Twits, James and the Giant Peach, and of course Roald Dahl's Cookbook. He was definitely my favorite author growing up. I would consider Charlie Bucket to my Harry Potter.

I LOVE Roald Dahl's books. I developed the love for reading from them. I've read all of them or I think I did except for some quiz books. I even bought the Revolting Recipes and tried them. It's really much nicer than the names of the food. I truly enjoyed The Great Automatic Grammatizer and other short stories.

My favourite character in books is B.F.G. My favourite character on screen is Matilda.

Hey! Anyone read his book "Switch B i t c h"? I can't seem to find it anywhere. maybe it's banned in my country.

My favorite is probably Matilda. She is the character I personally identify with, dragging books home. I also love Willy Wonka and Charlie.

I've read most of his books. Among my other favorites are The Witches (just a great tale), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Twits...they are just too hilarious, the husband keeping food in his beard always cracks me up!

My favourite book is "The magic finger", and my favourite character is the protaganist of the same book. I don't think her name was ever revealed.

I remember reading 7 novels - "Boy - tales of childhood", "The BFG", "Matilda", "Charlie and the chocolate factory", "Charlie and the glass elevator", "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and "The Twits". I may have read more, but I don't remember doing so.

I always liked the Twits. A classic and it still makes me laugh to this day. I also really liked Matilda. Great story line and plot. The first time I got it I think I read it front cover to back! Ahh... good times.
