I dont know how you can claim one flower as the best. That would be in the eye of the beholder. What are your prerequistes for best? Beauty? Dexterity?
Personally, I like wildflowers. The yellow ones I like are Indian Blankets, Black eyed Susans and Sunflowers. But, as a mom, I especially like dandelions. I know they are not true flowers, but proclaimed weeds. Still, if a kid can see beauty in a dandelion to bring it to his mom, well, it is the best.

Definitely the species Amorphophallus titanium (or titan arum). Big rare flowers. Look it up!

different colours of roses for decoration & for arrange ment, & to show your love. orchids for arrangemant & beauty, jasamin for its fragrance , sunflower for its magificiant colour, ...... each & every flower is beautiful in its own way. they make the world beautiful. i love all flowers, all colours.,it is the natur's greatest gift to the mankind.

Orchids of coz....tallking about THE Tiger orchid;they only blooms (if you're lucky) once every 5 years or so....from what I heard

Jasmine, of course. It comes in yellow and white varieties. Very fragrant. Very exotic smell.
