Wht the hell happene in end ofsilent hill movie, can somebody explain me why her husband cannot see her? whyy?

It was most confusing ending for this movie....... lots of questions remained unanswered .... even when asked to director ....... he must have also gone to the silent hill ...... he didn;t reply back....

While some people think that Rose and Sharon died in the car crash, personally I don't think they're dead. I think Christopher (the husband) can't see Rose and Sharon because they're still trapped in the alternate dimension (foggy Silent Hill).

The movie is based on the game, and the general plot points apply.

In a nutshell, there are really three different silent hills, all co-existing: regular silent hill, which the husband and other characters see, foggy silent hill, which is seperate and which the main character sees, and dark silent hill, where all the demons and whatnot are. The main character is trapped in foggy silent hill (brought about by/because of the cult), possibly because she (or in the games, he) died on the way in. Dark silent hill is tied to the tortured soul of the girl the cult burned, and this is why it's not such a nice place. Regular silent hill is just around to make the movie longer, explain a bit of backstory, and also to show why no one useful showed up.

The movie deviated a bit from the game, in that the main character was female, and that she could go home afterwards... you'll remember that it remained foggy, so the characters were still seperated (possibly because one was dead, who knows).
