It would be fun to live in a gay community, or gay town, to be able to be accepted and myself all of the time... but not in a gay world.
That would mean most of my beloved sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, friends, pets, etc, would also cease to exist. It would mean, should my grandmother be alive, that the person I loved most in this world would cease to exist as well.
I am a lesbian, and I had a chat with a lesbian friend once, who mentioned that she would choose to eradicate all males from the world and asked if I would like the same. My answer was basically like the one to this question. Just because I dont find males sexually attractive, or because certain males have hurt me or my friends a lot, doesnt mean that I want all of them gone, because that would mean my brother, my cousins, my nephews, my dad and my male friends would also be gone as well, and I like them a whole heck of a lot more than I do some of the women I know.
So all in all, I say live and let live.
I would rather the world become a more accepting and friendly place towards homosexuals, but I would never wish the world to become all-homosexual. EVER.

What is with all these hate filled americans? Oh let's get rid of black people, oh let's get rid of gays, and now, oh let's get rid of breeders!? This question will only draw the community down to the same hate filled cess-pool inhabited by the ignorant masses. You would think that those who have been discriminated against would have the compassion to not be discriminatory. Living in a gay-olny world would be stupid and boring. Have you looked at the Pride flag lately? It's a fvcking rainbow, it represents diversity. If you're gay, I seriously hope you grow up soon because the lgbt community does not need haters like you to give breeders another reason to discriminate.

I wouldn't want to, no more then I would want to live in an all white or all Wiccan or all bisexual world. Sometimes we crave people who are similar to us, but we also thrive in diversity and can teach and challenge each other in new and interesting ways.

And as much as I get frustrated with straight America sometimes, and as much as I would sometimes like the rabid frothing fundies to just magically disappear, I also know that the rainbow is for ALL of us, not just the people who agree with us. It represents all our wonderful diversity, and the promise and hope it holds for us to come together in beautiful and strange ways.

no because I am not gay, why the hell would that be a better world? gay people are still only human or do you think you are better than straight people? plus what are you going to do when the population of the earth starts to dwindle because lesbians don't want to have to go through child bearing because they are lesbians of course? hmmm and then the gays and the lesbians will start fighting and killing each other off, doesn't sound like to good of a world to me

it truly is a very demanding question. i imagine it is all about morals exceeded on by potential of the generations. a lot of human beings position kin first; different position the purposes of the others first; others are self-serving. maximum may connect a religious corporation. If I bear in mind wisely, maximum wars contained in the exceeded 5000-7000 years were non secular-depending. previous, it became territorial depending emperialism. The chinese may lop-off heads in case you dissobeyed the political structure...justice became extreme in both case (religions vs. emperors) So, in words of humanity, I do imagine a morally proper structure may be in position yet you under no circumstances understand if it may well be gladiator-good-circumstances or non violent. faith does in spite of the indisputable fact that safeguard a basic and finished bond for huge communities of human beings so each and every lifestyle has benefited in a great number of procedures. I do imagine that faith may be somewhat sluggish in transferring ahead to keep up with the circumstances.

Hmm, my boss was gay, and I liked and respected him. More people like him, would not be a bad idea, another gay person I know can be a bit sarcastic, might be not so good. Wouldn't want to live in an all gay world, I happen to like the opposite sex. and there is nothing wrong with that either :o)

"Would the world be a better place if all the straight people ceased to exist?"

uhm...no, but look at how much prettier the world would be......
and to live in a "gay only" world?
absolutely not, someone has to show the breeders how to dress and decorate their homes.

no, I'd miss my parents and most of my friends way too much. not to mention all the great musical artists that wouldn't be around like Marilyn Manson, Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, and so many others. plus, what would happen to all the bi-sexual people? or the straight transvestites? or all the other straight animals?

No, it would not be a better place, because then all of the gay people's parents would all die instantly, and their straight brothers and sisters and we'd all lose out if that happened. We are all interconnected, gays and straights are in every family, every culture, everywhere. We are intertwined, and the loss of one would be detrimental to everyone.

Yes......If you want to lower the world population!!
No, I don't think I would like to live in a gay-only world. I think God had the right idea when he created Adam and Eve.
