My daughter is almost 10 months but this has been her schedule since she was 6 months.
6-7 a.m. she wakes up and I give her 6-8 oz of formula
1-1 1/2 hrs later she gets breakfast (see what I feed her below) followed by 4 oz.
she then takes a nap about 1/2 hour after breakfast
11:00-11:30 lunch time followed by 4 oz
she takes another nap around 1:30
about 3:00 after her nap she gets 6 oz
5-5:30 dinner followed by 4 oz
7-7:30 4-6 oz of formula book and bed
Here's what I feed her:
Breakfast:Yogurt/oatmeal mixed with fruit (pears, applesauce, peaches, bananas, etc). Yogurt is ok after 9 months or when the Dr says it's ok. I also at times give her toast or veggie puffs asa finger food.
Lunch/Dinner: (I make the majority of her food)
-Black beans and rice (I use the Gerber rice cereal) with a side of carrots or sweet potato or squash. Sometimes I mix corn with the black beans and rice. You can use any use any kind of soft shell beans (lima beans, lentils, etc).
-Chicken and rice with a veggie ( I boil the chicken and put it through a food processor)
Veggies include: spinach, carrots, sweet potato, peas, green beans, corn, squash, broccoli, etc (I'm going to try brussel sprouts soon)
-I also buy frozen veggies, steam them and put through a food processor. My daughter loves the bags of mixed veggies.
-Every now and then I'll do beef, ground sirloin and put it through the food processor.
I make all of these in bulk and freeze them so I am only cooking for her 1-2 times a week. I buy the dry beans and they take awhile to cook on the stove but all of it is so easy and quick to make.

Breast milk on demand, and at 6 months you can start baby foods 1/2 a jar of the stage 2 vegies and 1/2 a stage 2 jar of fruits both twice a day. Also some rice cereal 1/4 to 1/3 cup twice a day (if your baby will eat this much).

My baby is 8 months old. He drinks 4 to 5, 6oz bottles daily, eats a huge bowl of oatmeal and applesauce for breakfast, has a snack in the afternoon consisting of either a graham cracker or club cracker and he eats half a jar of a stage 3 dinner, a jar of a green vegetable and a jar of fruit for dinner.

My son is six months old. He started eating food at four months in small amounts. Now he has cereal for breakfast, a jar of food for lunch and a jar sometimes two for dinner. He still has all of his formula bottles. He really does not care for fruit to much witch is fine with me. He would rather have any kind of vegetable and he loves the mixed jars like chicken noodle, or macaronni and beef . Two weeks ago I bought him his first box of cookies. I will give him one like every other day. The cookie is a definite stay at home food. When I give it to him it ends up all over him from head to toe and I need to give him a bath after it. good luck to you, just remember that every baby is different.

Between 6 and 9 months, you can introduce a range of foods - fruits, veggies and cereals at first, moving on to meat, fish, tofu and legumes. If baby is breastfed, there is NO need to give juice or water - breastmilk is sufficient.
Try http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/6-to-9-month-baby.html - it lista all the foods you can give at this age, plus lots of information about potential allergy or digestive problems.

my kids were almost totally off formula at that age and eating foods from the jar. Try some of the jar fruit first, easiest on their tummies, then go from there. By one they were eating everything solid. Try it out though, if they seem to gag, hold off for a while. Only introduce one new flavor every 4-5 days so you can check for allergies. good luck

6-9 months should still be formula or breast milk. did you start feeding your infant rice cereal around 4 months? if not, then you could start now. if you have, you could start on veggies in baby food. something easy for them to digest. yellow veggies like squash is good.

milk, cereal and porridge (after 7 months). I started with vegetable porridge - either with spinach, brocoli, carrot, potato, sweet potato, cauliflower, kailan, asparagus.
Then after 8 months istarted with chicken porridge.
Can also feed sweet potato alone.
I also gave her biscuts (rusk) and some of those jar baby food (which she doesnt really enjoy- except for Pear which is just dessert).
Give water and juice as well.
