This is my conspiracy theory: The United States kidnaps 2 Israeli soldiers and puts the blame on Hezbollah knowing that Israel would respond violently to this radical group. In response to actions by Israel the Syrian and Iranian militaries could step in to help Lebanon and Hezbollah. This would give the U.S. a justifiable reason to invade Iran. Thoughts? Am I nuts?

No, you are not nuts, but it wasn't necessary since the first scenario came off without a hitch. Israel lopped a few shots across the border, killing 3 Lebanese villagers and Hezbollah fired on them hitting a tank and another vehicle - THEN made the mistake of running across the blue-line to grab the two hostages, so Hezbollah is guilty of incursion in the attack.
That's how it was first reported, but I've found only one article still on the internet that includes those details. Israel wanted a chance to test the $2.4 billion in smart bombs and bunker-busters that Uncle Sweetie delivered some months ago, and Bush is itching for a way to get them to attack Iran's nuclear works.
I have a feeling that my source will 'disappear' from the internet, but here's the part about how Hezbollah was lured to attack (our contributions to Israel's arsenal requires a lot more research from News Archives under 'Foreign Aid'):

Well with the present situation in U.S. government I can't blame you for coming up with the theory, but Hezbollah I believe has admitted guilt in the kidnapping of the soldiers. I don't doubt that we're looking for a reason to deal with Iran, but I think even our president knows we can't afford another war. We'll probably put trade pressure on them or something.

You're not nuts, you just watch too much TV and films. If it was USA that kidnapped the soldiers, then why were the Lebanese and the Palistinians celebrating on the streets on the day of the kidnapping? why were Hizbullah handing out candy to everyone? why are Hizbullah bombing Israel - if you remember, they started bombing at the same time the kidnapping happened. How d'you explain that?

I think its possible, just like its possible that GW Bush and Bin Laden arranged 9/11 together. But just because its possible, doesn't mean its true. In this case I don't think so.

it was Hizbollah. trust me, it was posted on their website. where the hell are you people getting these theories? something happens and people automatically think "its Bush's fault." WILL YOU QUIT BLAMING THE ADMINISTRATION FOR EVERY LITTLE DAMN THING?!
oh and i'm not really a fan of Bush, but i'm just saying, he isn't responsible for every little atrocity that goes on in this world.
