It's very, very small. But pretty-much every limb and organ that's going to be present in a full-term baby is present and is in an early stage of development. The person who said "no arms or legs" was either misinformed or was being sarcastic.

At this stage of development, it's a simple procedure to do a termination, IF that's what a woman wants to do. The pro-life faction likes to get all sentimental about the fact that the embryo (which they call a "pre-born baby" or "a miracle, a gift from God"--because that's exactly what it is, from their point-of-view) has all of its parts present at that stage and that it's identifiable as being a human embryo: Their motto is, "Abortion Stops a Beating Heart." Well, heck, killing a cow to make a hamburger stops a beating heart, too. And there is no guarantee that a WANTED pregnancy will go to term; my cousin, a neonatal nurse, told me that about 20% of all WANTED pregnancies end in miscarriages and stillbirths. That's a LOT of wanted babies that are lost, and a lot of grieving parents, so it's hardly appropriate to assume that ALL embroys and foeti are "pre-born babies." But my point is that if a pregnancy is unwanted, and if you, personally, don't have "religious issues" around the subject, then don't let those folks do a guilt trip number on you just because embryos have all of their organs present at a relatively early stage. Carefully think over all of your options--and be glad that you even HAVE options, because those folks want to take away your right to choose. Follow your heart: Follow your head. Follow your gut. Do what's best for YOU.

It already has arms, legs and a beating heart. All he needs is time to grow.
