Well, usually careers end by things less severe than a "loss of voice."

It's true that after being famous, when you are not publicized as much anymore, people forget you, even the ones that fainted at your concerts, or had a poster on their wall, or spent $1000 for a ticket to your concert. They forget you eventually, because they never met you. Even for those that do meet a celebrity, they won't remember them because they have no recollection of their personal, candid personality.

When this occurs to a celebrity, all the nights of scream-filled stadiums and constant flashing of lights from cameras will stand in stark contrast to a completely quiet condo in some city, where they have returned to a quiet, ordinary life. That is why these celebrities then turn to treachery. The turnaround of fame is not something people have shown to be able to give up cold-turkey, demonstrating that it's not normal for us to elevate a human to such a high level. In the olden days, there were no TVs, so a person's fame could only travel by word of mouth and through writings. That's a little more natural than massive exposure via TV and Internet, two medias that advertise a person far beyond what is normal.

So, in a way, they do "lose their voice," at least figuratively.

one among my renowned singers sang rock/pop/human beings song interior the 60's and 70's and ended up making a song Opera interior the 80's. She nonetheless has a astounding voice, and that i think of is in all possibility called between the few, if no longer the only pop celebrity to make it in Opera. Linda Ronstadt nonetheless does concert activities now and back, yet i think of she continues to be making a song Opera.
