Michelle, better to stay off weed permanently instead of trying to fool the test. I've been in HR and worked on chain of custody. If I see a low specific gravity reading, we test again because we suspect that a person is diluting their urine. If you fail again, chances are you won't get a job. If it's a hair follicle test, you will have it in your system for the amount of time since the hair sprouted out of the cuticle.

It can take more than 30 days. Traces will go into your hair.
If you are planning on an employment drug test the best course is to stay drug free for as long as possible before being tested.
Best policy is don't do it.
