First of all, have the test redone at least a week after the previous one. The lab may have made a mistake, or it may just have been a bad day for sperm. Repeat it even a third time (again a week later) just to be sure.
Next, if he has any bad habits like drinking, smoking, caffeine, or drugs (legal or otherwise), eliminate them *completely*. Wait at least 3 months (the length of time it takes to make sperm from scratch), then retest.
In the meantime, heat is the enemy of sperm. If your husband wears tight underwear or pants, change his style of dress. Instead of hot showers or baths, switch to lukewarm. And if he spends time in a very hot environment, he should avoid that, as well. The reason the testicles are outside the body cavity is that sperm production requires a temperature a degree cooler than body temperature.
Have sex about every other day. More than this will decrease his sperm count further, but less than this, and you may completely miss the time of your cycle when you are fertile. For more details on this, please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. When you know you are dealing with male infertility, you may as well do everything possible to ensure that *your* fertility is as high as possible!!
Beyond this, not much (non-medical) will really help. But the good news is that even men with a *really* low sperm count (as low as 2 million) can get their wives pregnant without medical help in some cases. Good luck!!

Lycopene (found in regular multivitamins) can help. You may choose to opt for intrauterine insemination. In this way, the sperm count is improved by concentrating the sperm (less volume, but higher count). The sperm are then injected directly into the uterus at the most fertile time of your cycle.
IUI is particularly helpful in cases where the motility and morphology (shapes) are OK and it is only the count that is low.

Your doctor should be able to advise your on a good lifestyle to help your sperm count. You may need to consider medication for this - depending on how low the count may be. In the meanwhile, abstain from alchohol and smoking. You can also find out what your ovulation date is and have sex around that date but not before. Ask your Gyn to help you find out what your ovulation date is - there are many methods. Good luck!
