First in many area's you need to be a lease 18 years of age. next start talking to people in your area that you will stand up for what they believe in and go from there. you need people to vote for you. run news paper ad with photo's on them telling about your self and your back ground. " Big thing's don't hide any back issue's that you have. because someone will find out and use it that against you always, stay true to the people that back you. file the papers need, which would be at your local court house. But the big push for you is get out and meet people, and hear what they have to say. and go forward and do it. or at less try.....Not sure what elected office your running for.......But now a day's it can run in to $$$$$$ thousands of dollar's. so be prepared GOOD LUCK IN YOUR THOUGHTS...

You have to be born rich like George Bush
then pay some people off with that money and bribe a few elected officials and all that crooked stuff

Anyone can elect. But the thing is you have to make lies as true and u should have a wide mouth for make insults and lies, and ears for hear every insult.
This is also not enough. u should have some back support (thugs)
and fraud without get caught.

While meeting the criteria is the begining, the true answer is harder.
Have a deep want to serve the public, have a bunch of good ideas, and then convince others to follow you. Without all three, you're lost.
