1) squeeze about half a cup of lemon juice and drink in the morning when you wake up. do this everyday for about 2 weeks and you will get rid of bladder infections for good.
2) asparagus. take about 5 or 6 asparagus stalks. boil them until
squashy. eat and drink the juice from the pot. do this about 2 or three times over a few days it should help clear it quick
3) baking soda dissolved in water (don't take if you have high blood pressure)
4) cranberry pills
5) apple cider vinegar: 2 tsp per glass with a tsp. of honey (the vinegar and honey reset your system)
6) parsley leaves what ever kind of parsley you have. boil water.. pour in cup . use just a small (emphasis on small) pinch of parsley and place it in the cup. let steep for a few minutes and you can either filter the parsley out or drink it. but this will relieve the discomfort of a bladder infection until you can see a doctor. do not use parsley if you are pregnant, this can / will induce labor. will work within 20 minutes to help with pain.
7) cantharis (homeopathic pills that can be bought online)
8) cashews / almonds
9) rhubarb
10) beer (when suffering a bladder infection, drink a beer. the yeast in the beer (any brand) works with your body for a quick recovery)
11) lots of water!!
12) crandophilius (take two capsules four times daily with a glass of water. drink 8-10 glasses a water each day. do not consume within 2 hours of taking antibiotics)
13) cranberry juice
14) pau d'arco tea. try to find pau d'arco tea in loose leaf. it is the inner bark of a tree that grows in south america so it will look kind of weird. pour boiling water over a tablespoon and let it steep for about 15 minutes. drink this 3 times a day in conjunction with other remedies. this works for a variety of illnesses as pau d'arco has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.
15) instant coffee. make sure to drink the coffee at one time, do not sip
16) take a teaspoon of baking soda and add it too a full glass of water. this will subside the burning sensation. do not use this method with cranberry juice, the two together will cancer out. also, don't use this to much, or if you are sensitive to salt

It depends on how much it hurts. If it is a distracting amount of pain you should probably go see a doctor, but if its a slow building burn/ cramping feeling there are a couple things to do. The wall of the bladder is somewhat porous so to fight an infection in the bladder is tricky as you can feel better after a certain point but the bacteria is deep inside the wall of the bladder. So in going after the bacteria you need to find natural antibiotics such as vitamin c, honey, and grapefruit seed extract. A lot of the acidic things listed above should also help. Some women use tea tree oil around their urethra to prevent bacteria from entering the bladder that way. be careful with this as it will burn the sensitive skin around your privates a bit. The tea tree oil won t get rid of an infection already present in the bladder, but it can help. Keep in mind that most bladder infections are caused from bacteria climbing up the urethra so make sure: that your tampon strings are not going around your anus and then traveling up to your urethra (Best just to tuck in the string when you put them in or cut them), to wipe front to back, that you have clean fingers whenever you touch anything around the urethra, make sure you pee after sex, that your partner is clean (gentiles, fingers, whatever is going to be touching there), that any lube or toys are clean. If you use bottle lube make sure to wipe off the top every couple times. You can also help flush your body with water and cranberry juice or tablets. Cranberries actually make a coat around the wall of the bladder that prevents the bacteria sticking to the wall. This can bring relief and help flush the bladder. They do not kill the bacteria though. Also keep in mind that your body is imbalanced from fighting this bacteria so introduce good bacteria back into your system. You can use yogurt, beer, anything that has probiotics in it. If you are really prone to bladder infections and are tired of using antibiotics try Full of health s uribiotic unisex formula. this works by giving the bacteria something more enticing to attach to and it flushes out of your system.

Cranberry juice can help, but once you have the infection, cranberry juice won't get rid of the infection. It just helps prevent it. If you go to a place like Whole Foods you can get a homeopathic remedy called Cantharis. This helps with bladder infections. Yogurt also helps, but doesn't get rid of the infection. Sometimes it is too late for any of those and you do have to go to the doctor.

Water and Cranberry Juice works prior to getting an infection to help flush the kidneys and to help create a more acidic environment in the bladder to discourage bacterial growth. Once you have a bladder infection tho....antibiotics are needed. Yougurt is good to help discourage yeast infections.

Okay....Dont listen to any of the others. Here is your remedy:
Just put about 1 teaspoon Cream of Tarter
in a glass of water 3 times a day for a week
Dont know why it works, but it does. Dont overdo it
Have cured many friends with this.
The main thing is=stop drinking cokes and stuff
Your body needs water
Drink a lot of it. Stay away from anything colored or not natural. check labels. If its not real juice, if the first or second ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, run.
The cream of tartar thing really works. You can find it in the spice section of your supermarket.

My mum got rid of hers by using colloidal silver for 7 days which is a natural antibiotic, and clear tract which is d-mannose. This stops the bacteria from attaching to the bladder wall. You can find these at any health food store.
If you do use antibiotics be sure to take a good probiotic after to replace the good bacteria.

Several things can be helpful in preventing a bladder infection:
If you are prone to bladder infections, drinking cranberry juice or blueberry juice at the very first sign may cure an attack, but drinking either often should prevent an attack. For those who don't want to drink a lot of cranberry or blueberry juice, you can now get it by pill form in Consumers Choice Systems UTI Cranberry-Plus, Prevent Urinary Tract Infections.
Everyone should "go" when they need to. Waiting causes urine to concentrate, allowing bacteria to grow. Habitually holding your urine will cause the bladder to stretch and eventually to start keeping a little urine in little pockets instead of emptying completely, allowing bacteria to grow.
Urinating immediately after (well, almost immediately after) sexual intercourse will flush out bacteria that may have entered the urinary tract.
"Due to the eliminative nature of natural apple cider vinegar , the kidneys and bladder can benefit tremendously by a 'flushing', which they receive when the following cider vinegar therapy is undertaken: two teaspoons of cider vinegar in a glass of water six times a day. It would be beneficial to drink a couple of glasses of water in the morning, taking one teaspoonful of cider vinegar in each drink. Comfrey tea, first thing in the morning with a teaspoon of cider vinegar will also create a sufficient cleansing action. Inflammation of the kidneys, called pyelitis, in which pus cells are present in the urine, will generally clear up with the above-mentioned treatment."

To clear an actual infection you would need anti-biotics. You can prevent another by drinking lots of water, not holding urine too long if you feel you have to go, and taking vitamin C. (Cranberry juice is often recommended because it has a lot of vitamin C, but supplements will do the same thing without having to drink all those juice calories.)
