Well, I waited until I was 17 and that felt about right, so I think maybe that could be a decent age for girls and as a matter of fact fine for boys too. Of course I may encounter opposition for not saying 18 which is the legal age but I am basing my opinion on my personal experience as well. I definitely welcome other views and would love to hear what everyone else thinks.

Your brain is still growing in the part where you make decisions. You cannot make a well informed decisions until your brain is matured. Your body may not be ready to have sex and the consequences of sex. My sister wasn't able to get preg until 20 because of this. She had periods but the anatomy wasn't ready yet.Try to work on other issues about growing up and keep sex at bay until you are ready.

17 or 18 for both and in a committed long term relationship. You should never have sex with someone if you wouldn't marry them. Also don't have sex if you don't want to be a parent, because that's the only method of birthcontrol that is 100% effective. Casual sex is slutty and gross.

It totally depends on the individual. For various reasons to do with modern nutrition, your body is ready to have sex several years before your mind is. The neat thing is, although there's pressure to have sex, there's no obligation; you can wait as long as you like. Believe me, sex is not all it's cracked up to be. B

I waited until I was 19 years old with someone I deeply trusted (My best friend).
However, the exocution of it would've been a whole lot better in my world.
