Because it seems like you guys have a common interest. They can be attracted to you and have fun with you as well instead of suffering through some cheesey girl movie or whatever.

Well, I'm not sure, but perhaps all the other girls in your school are too girl and they want to date a girl who doesn't go "Like, OH MY GOSH! Part of my nail just got chipped!"
So they comment on how you look like you don't play video games. That doesn't necessarily mean they're attracted to you. Maybe intrigued, though.

Because guys love video games. They partially live in front of the TV where the X-BOX 360 is or where the PS2 is. You and guys just have a common interest.

because most chicks, not all but most I know either hate or are bad at video games. Too bad really. Gender diverity is always a good thing.
