It sounds like it will handle pretty much anything you can find at local stores that would have one. I like to shop at Best Buy for most of my computer needs. MY three favorite brands of wireless networking products are: Netgear, D-Link, and LinkSys. Buy what you think you will need/use. If you go into a store to buy one, you should be able to talk to the people that work there if you need help. If you'd rather shop on-line, I would recomend at least checking out BestBuy.com & TigerDirect.com
You could also search Froogle.com for something like "wireless networking cards" or "notebook network cards".

Want you need is just WLAN USB. Then go to any 'hotspots' area like "most" McDonalds, while eating you may access Internet. Like I do when I went to McDonald in Robinson Galleria (Manila, Philippines).
