A game cd when inserted into drive bloked by mesg "insert cd into drive f"-can anybody help me?

I could not find any reason why cd not running on the drive asking such messg whereas some other cd are running smoothly purchased from local market. please advice me what to do.

playing a game? is it a p*rated one? you may need to 'crack' it to work.. look for a 'crack' folder in the CD's directory or a crack file. then copy and paste the crack file into your local drive's game folder and there u have it!

If this is a game you have installed and then when you go to play it, you get the message, you may have "goofed" up the install. First thing to do is right click on the short cut and then left click on "properties" and see where the target is. The only way a short cut is going to vector you to a drive other than C is if you told it to.
You can edit that to the correct drive letter for your CD drive if it is not drive "F". The last thing you may have to do is un-install it and then when you re-install it, give it the correct drive letter.
