I have heard that clomid will most likely result in more girls then boys. Is this true?

I have a girl, but what you have heard isn't true.

The man's sperm determines the sex of the baby. Women's DNA only has X chromosomes. Men have X and Y. If an X sperm gets to your X egg, you get a girl. If a Y sperm gets there you get a boy.

There are other ways like temperature and how long you have sex before or after you ovulate, that can have an impact on the sex of the baby. Y sperms that make boys, swim fast but die sooner. X sperms swim slower but last longer. So in theory if you have sex before you ovulate you get a girl cause the Ys die before the egg gets there and only Xs are left to fertilize the egg. If you do it right after ovulation you get a boy because the Ys swim faster and beat the Xs there.

I can't remember the temperature one 100% but I think it is that Xs or girl sperm are more resistant to high temps so your more likely to get a girl if you get pregnant in summer and Y sperm do better in cold so your more likely to get a boy in winter.

The chance are still closest to 50/50 no matter what you do.

You can search the internet for other "low tech" ways to choose the sex of your baby.

I have 2 chlomed babies and they are both boys. However, I am pregnant with a non-chlomed baby right now and am told it is also a boy.
