Well he is going back to the first number that he ever played with when he was at Lower Merion HS. A lot of my friends think that it has to do with him playing with Lamar Odom because the two stars want to be known as 24/7, give them the ball all day everyday!!! hehe

evn tho i hate kobe lemme put it this way, kobe changing to number 24 wuz like MJ changing to number 45 it didn't seem right. most people assosciate kobe with number 8, so if i was him i'd stick wit # 8.

I think he's a primadonna. Why change numbers now, not getting enough attention? Besides, he's not as good as everyone wants to give him credit for, proved over and over since shaq left. He CAN NOT seem to get his teammates involved, even though the common sentiment is to blame said teammates. Nope, he's a heck of a scorer but that's just not enough.

doesnt really madder, Except that he'll make THOUSANDS because of the jersey number change, NFL were trying to do the same thing, like LT and Edgeran James and Reggie Bush trying to get singgle digits for running backs

I think he did it because everybody and they mama had #8 jersey and it was imposssible to sell another one but now there are about to be a million#24 jerseys sold but you can't knock the man's hustle
