Hi! I want a honest opinion from REAL people. (Preferably young kids to teens to young adults)
Ok, here's the deal:
My dad is gonna open a buisness. It's an arcade. It'll have pool tables, video games, computers and tv;'s set up for multiple game play. but, it's not the "typical arcade" it's gonna be based on a membership. like a gym, but for video games. My question is: would you join? does it sound like a good idea? how much should membership be? like, computers for students or whoever to work on projects, or homework, or whatever. And, they'll be a snack bar where you can buy snacks. but for, the video games, you don't put in tokens or quarters, cuz that is what the membership is for. good idea? or bad idea? would you go? or tell a friend? why or why not? Should there be anything else? There's the basketball thing, and gonna be a DDR where you dance, and a snowboard one where you ride it. Well, that's all. Thank you for answering! Have a good day!!

it's a great idea.. and i would join..i'm 31..
but unfortunately 75% of all businesses fail within the first few years...
the main problems..starting/operating capital, location,client/customer base,location..and location.

if he gets by these.. he's got no problems..

i live in Delaware and thought about starting one a long time ago..but unfortunately people in delaware , especially the young..some of them anyway, have no money and even less respect for others property.. which is something else he has to think about..by the way..in what state is he opening this store.

he should get the schools involved as much as possible..most admin people think of pool/video games as the seedy drug hangouts.. and some are.. but with the right information to parents and other things he should do alright...

like i said.. it's a great idea.. but there are many things he needs to take into consideration.

Yeah, I would join. I'm 23, female...it kinda depends on the rest of his clientele tho. I have heard of places like this, and my friends go there to play and hang out...
