Is that her real voice or was she in an accident?

I believe it is her real voice. I have never heard nor found any reference to her unique vocalization. Being a nurse, I have to wonder if she suffers from stuttering and might use a breathing method to control it (Marilyn Monroe talked in a "breathy" voice to control stuttering). In some ways, Rita's vocalizing patterns are similar to Marilyn's which is what makes me wonder. But, I am only guessing.

Rita has a sexy and sultry voice, similar to Sophia Bush on Chicago P.D. or Angie Harmon on Law and Order as the DA years ago. It is a unique voice and the only reason I watch MSNBC. I hate the voice of Hillary Clinton. It sounds like the combined voices of Roseanne Barr and Rosie O'Donnell.

I don't know, it sounds like her natural voice. I try to watch her show because it is sometimes very informative. But her voice is irritating to me. As irritating as nails being scratched across a chalkboard.

I don't know, but I can't watch her because I also find her voice irritating.
I honestly was wondering if she didn't have throat cancer or something.
When you're in Journalism and on TV, you just can't SOUND like that!
