We have been in the high 90s for about two months now with no rain...until today! We were so happy to see the rain fall even though it consisted of thunderstorms. We are to be back to 97 tomorrow so it will not bring any relief from the heat but that is typical here for the summer. We won't see the 80s probably until late September.

It got around 104 near the Dallas area. I live out in the country and just killed a coral snake keeping cool next to the petunias I've just watered. The grass sound like your're walking on newspaper, and it hasn't gotten below 90, and it's 1 am. Hope it gets cooler, it will get nasty when I start shedding all my clothes if we get more of this weather....so look out!

90's here in Indiana too. North Dakota was the only state in lower 48 that did not register a temp in the 90's today. Thundering right now, maybe it will cool down a little. The hottest single day in all of US that was coast to coast.

You know it got up to 93 today and I can't think...Really I can't think or do anything. I have the ac on high and it's cool in the house but when I get up to clean my heart beats fast like I'm outside. It's very humid here. I'm ready for Fall. I can't take it.....
I don't see how you are doing the 100 and above. I feel for you I really do....
Plus I can't sleep at night. I'm going to bed around 4 and 5 am. It's the heat can't sleep. I hope we make it thur this...
lol

It was about 95 today (outside), but at work we have an industrial size dryer (for food-grade powder) and it's usually 10-20 hotter inside than it is outside. And, of course, we had to paint the ceiling today. Did you know heat rises?

it was in the 90's today but then some severe thunderstorms brought in some cooler air. Suppose to be in the 80's tomorrow.
