It sounds like you are afraid or uneasy with your current situation in real life. Maybe you feel uncomfortable in your own 'skin'. Maybe if you can figure out what current circumstances in your life relate to this dream and figure out how to stop 'running' from this, then the dreams will stop. Just STOP and just BE for the moment. Try to just 'be' for the moment and don't worry. Hope this helps.

Well if you feel like there is some meaning to these dreams...please don't listen to what these first two commenters have to say. Some people don't feel like dreams are significant to your everyday life...but they sure can be. What would be the point in having them otherwise?? Sometimes they can give you guidance....maybe you should do a bit more research on some of the dream dictionarys you find online...or better yet...go to a dream interpretation website...such as dreammoods.com....and ask some questions in the forum...That is what I found most useful...I think dreams are a great way of getting in touch with yourself so go ahead and do a little more research...I think you could very well benifiet from finding out what the heck your "random" dreams are about...try not to take them too literally either

Dreams are personal to the dreamer. They are a way of working out something that has not reached our conscious mind or that has been left unfinished during the day. It could be a problem that we have that we aren't even aware of.
Have you tried writing or drawing out the dream? They say that you can work t control the dream. That if you go to sleep determined to face what you are running from it will happen. But maybe you aren't ready to face it. Maybe that is what the dream is about. When you are ready the answer will come to you.
Yu may need some help in facing whatever it is if the dream gets worse and continues to bother you.

Freud believed that dreams are the manifestations of some subconscious feeling. If this is true, your dreams of isolation and lonliness are messages from your subconscious fears of being isolated or left behind.
Of course much of what Freud had come up with has been disproven and your dream could just be a dream with no real meaning.

IMO, it sounds like you're about to move away or leave your family & friends in some way. You're probably just worried about being by yourself in a new place, but that's normal. Maybe you're trying to run away from change, or the future, or both, because you don't know what's going to happen and you don't like not knowing.
But it's just a dream so there's no need to take it too seriously.

dreams are based on subconscious memories and sensory compilation basically your brain is still receiving all your senses while your asleep and since your eyes are closed your brain uses those other senses to compile and image and if it cant create one then it reverts to past memories and whatever is currently on your mind and creates an image so they don't always mean what they seem for example if you dream of dying then it doesn't mean your going to die sometimes it means you or someone around you is pregnant other dreams don't mean anything at all but for you to truly understand your dreams is impossible however some people have made a lot of money making books to interpret dreams cause people always need answers

I don't know how to answer dreams but I question them a lot myself. I don't fully believe this site but I like going to it anyway and looking things up in the dream dictionary: http://www.dreammoods.com/

your dreams are simply ur brain taking ur memories and sorting them into their final resting place in ur brain. Your brain is like a computer... resorting data and information based upon ur use of those data. I would say that you are experiencing conflict or loss with a close loved one and wish you could just run from the stress.... ur running from the feeling of loneliness...which is what u said urself that ur scared of.

You are feeling very insecure about something important in your life. Are you single?
Have you recently broken up with someone or lost someone dear to you?
Your sense of loss is what is bothering you.
You need to look inside yourself and see what that is.
I have been there, I wish you luck :-)
