as a sequel: Jack Black, Louis C.K.from HBO's "Lucky Louie" or Kevin James from "King of Queens", much like John Candy, this generation's hilarious "jolly" comics

John Goodman would make a good Barf but Oliver Platt might be an interesting fit as well.

Stephen Root (Milton of Office Space). But Spaceballs 2 will probably be a prequel. So it should be a young Barf...Verne Troyer (Mini Me).

I think John Goodman could do a really good job... He's kinda got the same personality as Barf (I mean that in a good way)!

What I would like to know is who's bright idea was it to make a sequel. Exactly how many people does it take to NOT attend a movie before the writers realize that if the first one sucked to high heaven, why in the hell would one attempt to revive it!!!!
