okay, im from GA and not everyone on the east cost says that, think about people in Ny or Pa, everybody over here is not a redneck or somethin, as a matter of fact, some of us talk proper and some of it is just slang.

That is NOT a NY thing, it's Boston. I've also heard certain Midwestern people say it that way.

Same reason in the south we say y'all and up north they say you all. It is just regional dialect.
