I don't know if I am pregnant yet, I will know in a week or so, but still the ovulation tests show no ovulation. My last period was on the 2nd, and it says the 11-21st I should ovulate, but I still have not, and I don't think I will. Can you ovulate when you are pregnant? i don't think you can because if a egg is fertilized, another can't be released right?

No, you *cannot* ovulate if you are pregnant. As soon as the fertilized egg implants in your uterus (which is the physical beginning of pregnancy), the hormones it produces will turn off any possibility of ovulation.

But if you are using an ovulation predictor kit, you should know that it is not really very accurate. It is, first of all, only really useful for a woman who is completely regular; if your cycle length varies as much as 2 days from one cycle to the next (which almost *every* woman's does!!), you could need to use 2 tests per cycle to determine when your body is preparing to ovulate. If ovulation is delayed for any reason, an ovulation predictor kit will often *not* pick it up--or rather, it will let you know the *first* time your body is getting ready for ovulation, and not when it really happens.

If you really want to know when you are ovulating (as opposed to having a strip of chemicals *guess*), you need to chart signs of fertility. To learn the details on how to do this, read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It has detailed information that will *definitely* increase your chances of conceiving.

No you will not ovulate while pregnant. Also I have heard that if you are pregnant the ovulation predictor will pick that up as the LH surge.

Hormonal influences during pregnancy impair ovulation; it's possible but not likely. That's not diagnostic, however, since you can occasionally fail to ovulate anyway.
