City governments are the worst abusers of power and restrict more personal and real property freedoms than another other form of government. Its almost incestual the way they conspire to limit or deny property rights and freedom of expresion. The true nazis in government are your city councils and planning and zonning boards.

Local government can establish zoning laws to regulate homes, buildings and real estate development.

If you have an objection you can appear in front of the zoning board or talk to your local elected representative who will advise you of your options.

If the local government had no zoning control, your neighbors could get away with never mowing their lawn, keeping junk cars all over their yards and painting their houses purple. Your wouldn't want that would you?

who makes the rules? We, are the people in the constitution, have all the right to take what is rightfully ours. We also give the government their right because we do not stand up for what we believe. Do you think slavery vanished? in the sense of African Americans it did. Slavery has never vanished. People who make $6.15 an hour and so on are slaves. Think about it!

I don't think that the city can actually tell you what to do with your property, but if you live in an area with covenant codes, you can be limited to your choices.

Maybe in some cases, but not in the majority of them, at least in my opinion. My town is so small, they don't bother telling anyone what to do. I mean they have rules about dogs and junk cars and stuff like that, but not much else.

It is legally right. Zoning laws, eminent domain, etc. take precedence over some individual property rights. Morally right? That's for you to decide.

Right or legal?
No more right than restrictive convenants on subdivisions, leases on apartments, speed limits on highways ... move if you don't like it.
