If my friend and I go out, and should we break up, can we still be friends? would there be awkwardness between us? Would I lose him as a friend?

It is possible. Anything is possible. Its worth a try. I mean if you can gte along while going out you can get along as friends.

If I understand u correctly u want 2 know if u and an ex can still be friends and yes u can because i'm friends w/alot of my ex's and u won't feel awkward as long as u weren't in love w/him, however if u guys were in love then it can cause a problem between the 2. U guys would need some x apart and get used 2 the fact u eachother r no longer gonna be 2gether and u guys can handle being w/each other.

Yes, it's possible but I've never seen these type of relationships last. After you are that intimate with a person, it's hard to go back to being 'just friends'. And how do you explain to your current boyfriend that, even though he's an EX, you weren't compatible enough to be a couple, but you still want to remain friends. Seems to me, if you value the friendship, you should keep it as that.

It may take some time, but you can absolutely be friends with an ex. I'm still friends with most of my exes. My husband and I were always friends between our break-ups and we ended up back together and have been married for 11.5 years.

Yes u will lose him as a friend.That is only if u guys fall in love.Cauz u guys will always feel da same especially if ur friends right after tha fact.

sometimes it can be hard if you two are really close i wouldn't advise it, but if it feels right to you go for it. just hope fpr the best and also make sure you guys talk about it first and agree to be friends afterwords that always seems to help/
