Maybe Michael_Bowen1960 needs to read a book. He's talking about Austrailia and you definately said Canada lol! But anyway, definately check online and at your local library for any information you might need. They're both great sources of info! If you feel like the course probably shouldn't focus that much on Canada (like if it's a Rennaissance English class), talk to your professor. Is he/she Canadian? Some people just get very wrapped up in their own country and get off topic a lot.

No one can teach you everything about "Canada" as such a generic topic. There's sooo much to any country. The language, culture, tradition, history, geography, politics and more! So do searches and borrow books specific to that particular paper. Like if it's about the politics, you don't need to focus on many other things.

You'll do fine in the class! Good luck!!!

kiarah i think what you need is encouragement, you do not have to be a canadian to understand stuff about canada? can you imagine what some of us will say? am in africa studying masters in international relations this involves studying things about America, Iraq, Uk and in short the whole world and believe you me am excelling like nobodys problem because i have interest. you need to have more interest with books and search engines like google what can you not learn? do this if you have a particular topic you are researching on send it to me il help you.

ask yourself where do you wanna be in future and where is the study taking you, then stop seeing the impossibilities coz those are small mirage they aint real because many have done the same course and excelled why not you and bottom line is they were not canadians.
good luck gal
