I am a woman and right now, I own 3 houses and am working on purchasing number 4.
i would guess that it is generally that the men are the ones with a more steady income.

Traditionally, up until the last few years, property ownership has bneen the province of men. Fortunately that is changing but men will likely continue to be in the majority for the foreseeable future.

Because men traditionally have the greater income in a married couple and because of that they need to be the primary on the funding in order to qualify for a loan.
This is not so true nowadays. I actually asked my husband to take me off of our loan papers and deed so I will not be responsible for it in the event that something happens to our marriage. I don't want to be stuck with the payments.

cuz they pay cash for the houses
but to be honest wen i marry she will own the house cuz she will be the 1 with the job i will just stay home an watch tv an chat with gurls on the computer

Apart from finances they track on other relevant areas like taxes, renovations etc. However the key behind is the women.
