I'll be different to the answers thus far. I do not like the rain because it makes the grass grow. I have a lawn mower that is a particularly hard to start. I f it started then I could mow the damn grass, however it mostly doesn't and I have grass 4ft tall by the time I enlist a neighbour to start the mower. I think maybe it is time for another new mower it is 12months old... funny thing is that is has the hide to say it is an easy start mower...Are you kidding me!
We live in rather a dry area of Far North Queensland, Australia so without the rain the grass is dead and lifeless. Not that nice to look at but heaps better than 4ft straggly grass blowing in the breeze or the mud in the driveway that stops me from riding my motorbike. Finally in answer to your question do I like rain... I'd have to answer nope!

Rains is one of the blessing of nature. The pleasure of water water seeping through body is an exciting experience. The music of rain is one of the real wonders of nature. I being from Kerala, India, enjoy rain most. I feel it is the romantic climate of all seasons. Though I am far away from my native place, I can feel raining there in Kerala now. In childhood, all children soak in rain, play, quarrel and what not.

well only an introvert would not like rains.
but if there are pits on the road and no proper drainage , then rains can be a nuisance.
for otherwise its very natural to just not like but love rains. even the animals seem to be jubilant when it rains.

oh yes! i grew up in a country having only two seasons: hot and hotter (the philippines) that each time it rains i just thank God endlessly =)

Yes when it rains elephants & camels.
but lightning is really killing. Uprooting is allso scary......I luv nature when it welcomes us with green carpet, & the dusty trees/shrubs flaunt their green shiny gown
