I would have loved to have been one of the first settlers in the West in the 1880's. I guess I watched too much Little House on the Prairie.

The question is really irrelevant; there have always been those who feel that they were born in the wrong decade or century, but they'd feel that way no matter what time period century they actually were born into.
It's really not the other times and places that appeal to these people but, rather, that they are victims of their own innate sense of not belonging to a society that, in their view, fails to appreciate them and persecutes them. Compared to this, other ages seem simpler, gentler, more exciting and romantic -- but it's largely an illusion, a false nostalgia for things which they'd never experienced first-hand.
We all succumb to this "Willoughby Syndrome" (a name I borrow from a well-regarded classic "Twilight Zone" episode) to one degree or another; most of us realize that it's just simple wistful daydreaming, and that the world around us is, for the most part, only as good or as bad as we ourselves make it.

Late 60's, so that I could live through the 70's, 80's, and 90's.....
I LOVE those decades, and hate technology now, and wish we could stop where we are.

I'd say the late 60's to 1990, when all the good metal bands were everywhere, concerts, and etc. now all the music is ****. I could have seen Randy Rhoads play before '82 when he sadly died....

The 60's...Woodstock, Hippies, Free love. Granted all wasn't peaches and cream for black folks with the civil rights movement. However I would like to have known what it was like to be in the age of aquarius.

I would have like to have grown up in the Victorian Era. That is one of the most romantic eras out there.
