All of a sudden i will get about 10 of them one right after another

Do you have a popup blocker on your browser? Yahoo's toolbar offers one. Google's toolbar does also. Either of them are pretty noninvasive, though if you use Yahoo more, I'd suggest dowloading theirs, since you can get an immediate button that will take you directly to messenger or Yahoo e-mail (if you use either).
They're pretty effective. Once in awhile a popup will get through, but usually only one, and even then, only once in a great while.

What has worked well for me is the following.
Use the Mozilla Firefox web browser, download the Yahoo toolbar for it.
or download the Yahoo toolbar for Internet Explorer and the MSN toolbar for Internet Explorer.
All of those things have a pop-up blocker built into them and they are all available for free downloads from their respective websites.

if u're using IE6 with windows XP SP2, u dun have to downlaod anything, just enable the pop-up blocker provided by IE6.
on the IE browser, click on the Tools menu and find Pop-Up Blocker, click on Turn On Pop-Up Blocker.
If u cannot find it there, u have to enable it first:
Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab -> Custom Level -> under Misc. find Use Pop-Up Blocker, make sure to choose Enable.
The IE will block the pop-up for you.

its simple u know ...all u have to do is download yahoo toolbar or google toolbar and there will be an option to block pop up blockers

If you have yahoo tool bar just turn on the popup blocker.
If not download it, it's free.
