the Eagles are going to finish in 4th place in the division. if they were in any other division they'd be a contender. if they were in the NFC West or NFC North, they'd have a great chance to win the division. But they have to deal with the Cowboys, the Giants, and the Redskins. All of 4 should be playoff contenders ,but if you look at the rosters and at the coaches, the Eagles are already gone. TO is going to be a great guy for Dallas, because of Bill Parcells disciplinary schemes and that's why Dallas wins. Eli Manning is even more experienced and that's why they get 2nd. Let's face it, the Redskins have great talent as well as a great coach. they'll get into the playoffs. Eagles don't have much of a chance since they don't have the roster. Andy Reid's great, he can't discipline great players well enough and because of that, the Eagles franchise is now in a rebuilding stage.

It just goes to show you how idiotic some NFL fans are by reading some of the answers you've received. The Eagles WILL WIN the NFC once again. Last year was a FLUKE because of the following reasons: McNabb injured in game 1, TO a distraction since camp, Cory Simon was released and D-Line couldn't put pressure which exposed secondary.Even with all those troubles they still finished 6-10. Here's why EAGLES comeback this year: McNabb is HEALTHY so haters watch out, Buckhalter is also healthy giving Westbrook help in the backfield. Add RB Ryan Moats to the mix and our running game is prime despite what these haters say. As for our WRs in T.O.'s wake look for both Reggie Brown and Jabar Gaffney to have break out years. If McNabb can win Pinkston and Thrash a few years ago just think what he can do with these two. Gaffney was so underused in that conservative Texans Offense it was pathetic. We should have signed him to more than a one year deal in my opinion. He'll flourish with a real QB like Donovan throwing to him. We also signed DE Darren Howard and drafted Broderick Bunkley to shore up that D-Line. Because of this our secondary will be back to Pro-Bowl status. Howard was a beast in New Orleans, was runner up to Cory Simon for Def Rookie of the Year when they came in. His sack numbers were down last year due to no help on the line in NO and constant double teaming. He also will rebound in Philly. Reid is the best coach in the NFC and drafted depth for both sides of the lines which any true football fan knows that is where football games are won and lost....in the trenches.
Now as for the rest of the NFC East, the only team that worries me is Washington. The Redskins have speed on all sides of the ball. They've made the right free agent moves to fill in the holes. They are well coached and new Off Coordinator will have them moving the ball and scoring points. We will be battling them for the division and playoff advantages. I think our experience in big game situations gives us the advantage here.
The Giants and Cowboys will falter a little due to personell situations such as ELI having a sophomore slump (I know it's his 3rd year and I agree he will one day be great but not just yet) Tiki and his fumbling problem and Shockey with his laziness problem. The Girls have another set of problems. The Cancer of TO is now with them but he won't be the problem. The problem lies in the coaching and QB. Bledsoe and Parcells are both dinosaurs (brontosauruses not velociraptors) with outmoded ways of doing things. The game has passed them by. The running game is also unproven. The had a few good games at the end of last year but with defenses actually tailoring their game plan to them it will be different this year.
So here's the record prediction
Eagles 11-5
Skins 10-6
Gnats 9-7 *
Cowgirls 8-8 *
*NY and Dallas records are interchangable here I don't feel strongly either way. Birds and Skins both make playoffs.

i am an eagles fan, and i believe that they will be a wild card team and lose in the first round of the playoffs. With their defensive backs this year they should be able to play well against the Cowboys and the Giants who were the two best teams in that division last year. Also, the future looks good for the Eagles, Brian Dawkins and Donanvon McNabb are the only starting players, (not including the offensive lineman), that are older than 30.

Eagles will do fine, anyone remember them before the T.O. era the made it to 3 straight NFC championship games. Mcnabb was hurt last season and andy reid missed games cause he had some surgery I forgot about. Also the NFL's #1 make it and breakit player broke the eagles last year(owens). I predict the eagles will go 10-6 and make it to the NFC championship game again, this will only be possible if they have minimun injurys

They are going to have a terrible year in my opinion. They dont have any legitimate receivers and are going to try to use Brian Westbrook this year as a work horse type back and he will break down. McNabb is overrated and the Eagles are in the most competitive division in football. They are gonna have to completely rebuild soon and I think this year they are going something like 5-11

Last year wasn't really a fluke...they had problems up the wazoo...T.O....McNabb injury....all that other what not going on...it wasn't a good season...I'm afraid to say that Philly might be in trouble this year. NYG and Washington are looking very nice. I just hope Philly does better than Dallas....
Don't get me wrong...I don't like Philly very much....but I HATE HATE HATE Dallas...America's team my ***....T.O. is the last thing we need representing America.
Good Luck to the Eagles...but they are gonna need some luck and a better run game.

Eagles are not that bad a team this year, but will still finish 4th in the division.
Skins, Boys and G-men are just that much better this year.
