I usually start with some scrap wood the same size as the facia, and cut the same angle on the end of each until they meet perfectly at the peak. Or perfectly enough. Like the last guy said caulk will hide small cracks. Your speed square will have one scale divided from 0 to 90 degrees.Measure the angle on your test pieces and transfer that angle to you real pieces. Unfortunately all of your peaks will probably be a little different, but at least you'll have a place to start on the others.

First get the angle you want (measure twice) then cut your 1x fascia at that angle.The square should have come with an instruction booklet,If not go to H.D. or Lowes and look at one.What I do is cut the angle on a board that is too long / Fit it then mark the square(lower) end and cut it off so any gap is not at the peak but lower (thats what caulk is for)Or you can start at the peak and work your way down.
