Wow right now the Braves are showing spectacular offense but I do not believe that they are done. Brian McCann is awesome, Chipper is having a great Month, Andruw Jones is an RBI machine, Renteria is great.. they are not done. They need some new pitching because Smoltz & Hudson aren't getting the job done. Their closers aren't getting the job done either. Chris Reitsma! He's blown about 6 saves. Jorge Sosa is in the top 5 in home runs allowed, he's horrible. Villareal is horrible. They need to work on their pitching and they will be back!

the braves have ****** up big time with some moves they have made. first off trading andy marte was a bonehead move. secondly wilson betemit is sich a great all around player---it sickens me that he doesnt play every day. not resigning furcal and investing too much in marcus giles were both mistakes. They need to change the face of the franchise and unload chipper---andruw can stay b/c he's still relatively young. francoeur is a future monster. langerhans has raw power, but i'm still questioning kelly johnson as an everyday player. saltalamacchia their top prospect has floundered, but mccann has had a solid year.laroche has a good glove. their picthing is odd as well. they really dont have pitching---joey devine has struggled to get to the bigs, horacio strikes out like 1 batter per 400 innings ptched--which means he's gunna get lit up at least once every 3 or 4 starts. they have some pieces, and if they would please use jorge sosa in the right role they may fix this mess, but after so many years of complete domination its a bout time someone new arrived on the scene---the mets.

Yea they are on a win streak, but they are 11 1/2 games out of 1st place in the division. They are 5 out of the wild card, but the Reds have won 4 straight also and have seven teams ahead of them. The Diamondbacks are looking better than recently and the competition for the wild card has alot of contenders. The pitching may not be up to the challenge of digging out of the whole the got themselves in early in the year. I think the Braves are done.

I'm a die-hard fan too! 36 runs in their last three games... I just hope they can keep it up! After the Cardinals, we have series' with Florida, Philly, then the Mets... those are all key...
And to *O* above who said TBS has been showing their games.. it's ALWAYS been that way.. they show less now than when I was a kid... Braves/Turner Field=Ted Turner=TBS

they are not done. anything can happen in baseball. we've all seen it. until that elimination # hits 0, you are still in it no matter what the case. i know people disagree with me, but the Royals are still in it. that is a fact. they have 41 games as of right now until elimination from the AL Central. they're still in it for 46 games at least for the wildcard. yes, they are 30 games back but if they're still in it, everyone including the Braves are still in it.

Not me! I'm a die hard fan and I have faith that they can get on a serious roll, Their hitting is coming around big time and they are scoring serious amount of runs. If they win about 20 of their next 30 watch out! And I believe they will.

obviously you've been living in a cave somewhere for the past 2 weeks while the braves have been laying waste to pitcher after pitcher.
