My boss has a son who is of age but quite a few years younger than me. I met him when he was 12 or 13 and have known him for several years. I have always thought of him as more of a baby brother type figure. Tonight he told me that he has always been interested in me and has fantasized about me. It was all too shocking for me and I didnt really react. Now let me get this point across even if I were single I would NEVER persue a relationship with him...NEVER. He is too young for me and he is my BOSSES SON!!! But is this normal for him to say he is attracted to me?

Many young male adolescents will fantasize about an older woman whom they are attracted to. This is very common. I've been through this experience before... and as a middle school counselor, I've had a few who had "crushes" on me, even though they are at most 14 and I am 37. In my eyes, they are children going through a phase... in their eyes, they are young boys trying to play the role of a man and find their male sexual identity.
He must feel very safe telling you that he was once interested in you. And I agree with you, I would stay away from getting involved with the son of your employer regardless of his age.

You say you are older but not how much. I would bet at his age you were the older women that guys his age sneak a peek at in the magazines (you know the ones), and here he has a live one to fantasize about. The closeness you two shared was, is, very special. Yes this is normal.

It's normal for boys to have fantacies with older females. It's like the movies that you see where high school boys are fantacizing over their school teachers. Even though he maybe of age "legally", boys mature slower than women.
Even if he were older, it's normal... As long as the older woman is hot... there will be fantacies.... hence the term "M.I.L.F" (Mother I'd like to f%ck) Guys looking at their friends mothers and hence forth.... but it's normal.

Of course it's normal for him to say that. A lot of guys tend to fantasize about older women, particularly those they've known for a long time. The older-woman fixation is kind of oedipal but not quite... they want someone to take care of them, really.

Of course, do him a favor and tell him you don't feel the same. Clear the air and he can move on. If you don't, he may feel like you're playing hard to get and persue you more.

dont feel wierd about this.my dads friend owned a restraunt and he had a son.well my dads friend had to open it up one day cause his assist. manager was sick so we had to take his son to school.i hated him.he was so rude.about a month later,they invited me and my dad(parents are divorced)to eat dinner with them.well after dinner,the son was showing me all this kind of kool stuff and the he told me he liked someone that started with an "a''.(my names alyssa)i couldnt guess it and i was the least one intrested in him.then he told me he liked me and i told him i would be right back,i had to use the restroom,i went to my dad and told him i felt sick and i threw up in the bathroom and he took me home.i havent seen him in a really long time but i still remember that time and wish him well

Yeah, its normal. Your the older, mature, successful female that hes always had a crush on. Hes finally mature enough to admit it to you. Take it as a compliment and carry on with your life.
