The main diffrence between the American League and the National League is this: The American league plays a more longball mentality and the National League plays small ball and relies on stellar play in the field. The National League also relies on the premise that manufacturing runs is good while the American League relies on the premise that the big inning or the homerun is the way to get it done more times than not.

The National League is the older league and it also has 16 teams
and the American league has 14 teams. And yes the National league doesn't have the DH like the American league. The American league also beat up on the National league this year in interleague play.

Well to begin with the AL has a DH rule, and in the NL pitchers have to bat. Overall in both leagues I think that the AL has soooo much more talent then the NL. Besides most of the old players that should give up baseball play in the NL.
