Who here loves hot peppers?

Question

I love hot peppers. In my garden now I have jalapenos, habaneros, cayennes, pequines, black night, medusa, thai dragon, tabascos and a few milder peppers. I like them best when they turn red and I eat them right off the vine with whatever meal Im having. I think the term "ornamental pepper" is just code for if you cant take it, dont eat it. What do you think?

I use to hate them until some guys I use to work with always had contests about who could make the hottest dish and of course they always asked me to try them out and I got addicted.

Yeah, those ornamental peppers are very hot!! I think they are so good!! A pepper isn't hot enough unless it is making my nose run, but the pepper has to have good flavor. It can't be hot for the sake of being hot, you know?

Hi,,, i have about the first 4 of the ones you mentioned growing in my "new" raised bed garden,,,, that i am so proud of.... love them,, especially mixed in with other fresh veggies.....yummy,,,,

I agree with you! And yes I love peppers so much that I just made some yummy salsa today...........and I've been
zippin' along all the do da day!! Hot cha, cha, cha!!!
