Hotmail doesn't use POP3 it has http server. This can be configured on outlook. While creating an account choose Account type HTTP and HOTMAIL from HTTP service provider.

But you might need to buy this service from Microsoft.

I don't think you have to use a pop3 address for hotmail. If you set it up in Outlook Express, it will set those for you automatically, once it realizes that you are going through MSN Hotmail.

So open Outlook Express, go to Tools, Accounts, Add new email, and it should lead you through the process from there.

Hope this helps.

You have to have Hotmail plus to be able to access it thru pop settings. Pay and they will give them to you and allow that access from your account.
