Would you buy designer fakes ( purses, shoes, jeans, etc ..)at low prices ?, or would you just pay the high prices of the real ones. Knowing that you really can't tell the difference between the two.

There's a difference between look-a-likes and fakes. Look-a-likes- have small differences, and are usually ok quality but are easy to apart from the real thing. If you didn't care about people knowing, those would be ok.
Fakes, because they are illegal to produce and sell, are very low quality. Things like sunglasses and bags will break right away. They are good if you buy them as a joke- or for one afternoon, but i wouldn't pay more than a few dollars for them.
I just shop smart. I take advantage of outlet malls (such as Nordstrom Rack) which carry bags, sunglasses, and great denim at discounted prices. You'll still have to pay about 1/2 of the price, but they are the real deal.

I agree with what'sthat?!. They're right. I would rather buy a real and only have one than have ten that are fake. It's against my moral principles to buy something that's illegal and unbenefitting to others. The prices for a real may be high, it's true, but knowing that I saved up for something so luxurious instead of just randomly buying one from a street vendor makes owning such a high-quality item so pleasureable. If you don't mind items with slight wear or tiny damage, you can check Marshall's, Ross, or Nordstrom Rack. I have found authentic Juicy Couture at Marshall's plenty of times. The price is usually at least 40% off. Or, if you're really in a hurry and don't mind paying only 20% off, www.bluefly.com is guaranteed to have plenty of designer items. I love finding a really good deal on authentic items.

Um...no. I'd feel stupid. And for all the people that do buy the fake stuff and their reason is only because they don't wanna waste money on a brand name purse; you're being a hypocrite if you didn't figure that out yet. You say you don't want to buy a brand name purse thats real because it is a waste of money then why are you buying a replica of it? You want other people to think that you bought it for that much, don't you? Stupid hypocrites. Just buy non-brand name things that cost as much as the fake ones, dumb-a-s-s-e-s

Yes, but realize people will know, no matter what you may think.
If someone has an oversized Louis Vutton and a Cartier necklace but also has a hoop-dee, a prepaid trac-fone, and works at Dairy Mart (no offense to people who do, just making a point) then people KNOW that it cannot be afforded.so people KNOW its fake.
And if you have a few of them you are fooling yourself thinking that no one knows. And many of these items CANNOT be bought at online stores, so those 'in the know' will not be fooled when you say you bought them at ebay or louisvutton.com.
You'll only fool people not smart enough to know what they are really worth.
And you cant tell the difference because you have never seen a real one, side to side there is a huge difference!

Heck Yes I buy "fake" designer purses. Paying over 1000 dollars just for a handbag is ridiculous just because it has a logo on it that all the celebs wear. but i know a really good place online that has handbags that look EXACTLY like the designers...

I never buy fakes, they look ugly and you can tell the difference in quality.
It is worth paying full price for the real thing.

id never wear a fake designer thing its unfair to the designers. Id rather wear something that wasnt supposed to be designer at all than wear something that was fake... its like... wats the point.?

as far as a purse, i prefer a smaller size so i'd still buy the name brand since it doesnt cost that much anyway... other stuff it depends on if i purchase name or fake
