I have been having dull cramps on and off through out the day for about a week now along with an unusual discharge but it isn't close to my period (and there isnt a chance im pregnant). I'm not sure what the problem could be or if there even is a problem, do you have any ideas?

I'm not sure what it is, but I would definitely get it checked out...you have nothing to lose.

I have had the same problem and it ended up being BV(Bacterial Vaginosis). It's a overgrowth of the bad bacteria that we naturally have inside. It's sorta like a yeast infection being that it is treated similarly but with different meds. It can be caused by switching sex partners, a change in climate, rectal bacteria, or underware that dont't breath well, and many other reasons. It could be anything, though including an STD and you need to get it checked out before it gets worse. It's probably not pregnancy because that shouldn't hurt. Good luck and hope you feel better.

hey there,
It could be a very good time to find yourself a Dr. and get used to a pelvic exam. It is a little bit embarrassing at first. Many women have a thorough exam once a year like clockwork.
I am not a Dr. so I couldn;t say what exactly is causing these things. I do have 2 grown sons and it was good for me to be used to it, because I learned alot.
Do you live alone?
There are centers for young women everywhere that provide services for a minimal amount,or free. I wish you luck and hope you will be feeling better.
Blessed Be 2U no worries, eh?

It could be numerous things. You need to see your GYN and get a pap smear and a culture test done. It could be a yeast infection, an STD, or something more serious. In the meantime, keep the area clean and free of any perfumes and powders. Do not wear silky panties either, only cotton. Best of luck. BW

There are some std's that have those symptoms. You need to see a doc. Quick. Whether or not you've been sexually active.

Yes there must be a problem. If the complaint is with fever then there is a chance of PID.
