I've heard that is does but I've never tried it. Try some clean and clear or some alcohol it really works the alcohol may stank and be strong but it helps and it doesn't burn

ToothPASTE, not toothpaste gel, will help. You don't have to do it through the night, just put it on once before bed. You can put a Band-Aid over it if you want. Zinc oxide will also help dry it up if you have any of that around, or you can dab on a bit of a clay mask. Benzoyl peroxide is the best, and you can get some cheap Equate stuff at Wal-Mart for a couple of dollars that works fine. Don't use lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel, rubbing alcohol, etc. All that does is irritate your skin even more.

Now...my big advice for your date is do not mess with the pimple. It will probably not be 100% gone, however, the more you mess with it and irritate it, the more obvious it will look in a couple of days.

Toothpaste can work for people who don't get acne often. It works on these people more often because it is easier to dry out their skin. However, if you get blemishes often and you want a cheap solution that really works, you should invest in Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne treatment. It works for a variety of skin types because it has a safe amount of Benzoyle Peroxide. Also, wash your face with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. It has Salicylic Acid, which will dry out an oily complexion. If you have a really oily complexion, see a dermatologist.

I don't believe so, I use to have a hard time with my skin when I was younger and what I noticed was that EVERYONE'S skin is different, things that worked for my friends did not work for me and I wasted soooo much money finding this out. One thing that helped me was I noticed I was very red after taking a shower which is because I am allergic to soap, so many soaps have perfumes and stuff in them which can really aggravate your skin, I would first try buying this brand of soap called "basic" its not located with the other soaps instead its where you would buy the face creams and stuff and they sell it at Walmart, Biggs, Kroger and Meijers that I know of. I'm not sure how old you are but tryst me most people eventually grow out of it, I would have never guessed I would have but my skin got better when I was around 20-21ish. Also make sure your pillow cases and sheets/blankets are clean because that can cause you to break out too.

I've tried it, seemed to reduce the redness and dry them out. Honey is good too, just a bit sticky if you toss and turn in the night! Vinegar also good as an antiseptic if you're restricted by whats in the pantry. Also try bathroom cupboard - Savlon, Dettol any antiseptic cream or liquid really does help overnight. Have a great date!

It works if is toothpaste and not gel and only if you catch it early and haven't picked at it. Clean and Clear makes a REALLY good zit cream a couple days would prob be enough. you can always put a little visine on it before your date to reduce the redness-it shrinks the capillaries. Cool huh?

Don't rub it on just dab it on and leave it as toothpaste is a good drawing ointment. The other thig is to take vitamin "E" as this helps to clear up acne as well.

Its one of the best home remedies around. And good luck with your date; hope all goes well. But the person your going on a date with shouldn't judge you for your acne, its who you are. Its who you are on the inside.

No, you dont rub it into your acne through the night, you put a dab of it on a pimple (it has to be the white paste, not gel) it's supposed to dry it out

I've never heard about toothpaste, but I have a friend who puts Neosporine on every time he gets a pimple. He treats it like an infection and it seems to work for him.
