On your Internet Explorer, click on Tools, go down to Internet Options and click on that, and within that window that comes up, you will see the choice of clear History. Click on Clear History, and you are in business with a clear history folder.
You should clear that once in awhile and clear your temporary internet files once in awhile to make your internet run faster. You will see that in the same window as you see the Clear History button. It is part of regular computer maintenance such as defragmenting your hard drive and clearing your cookies and running Chkdsk (Check Disk). You find those under Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools. If you should clear your cookies, you will be asked for passwords when you go to all the sites you are signed up to.

It depends on what search engine you are useing. If you are useing firefox then you should go to the top of the screen tools > options >privacy >History and near the bottom you should see a clear history tab.
If you are using Explorer I suggest you use Firefox but you go to top of the screen tools >Internet Options > 'General' tab if you scan the page you should find clear history.

You have this thing called History Swatter. Add this tool to your tool bar. Search the web for this. It will clear only the visited sites from History. Address Bar entries will not be deleted by this
