Kerry Von Erich, like his brothers, could have been great, but never fulfilled his potential because he had too many personal problems. Like his brothers, his father pushed him to be a main eventer even though he originally didn't even want to be a worker, then he got wrapped up into doing drugs and dirkning. His father knew about it, but didn't help him until it was too late because he lived in denial about his son's habits. Then came the motorcycle accident where he lost his foot, which was also his father's fault because he pushed his son back too soon. Even though the ankle and foot were injured, he could have regained the use of it if he had taken time off to heal. But, no! Fritz wanted him back in the ring that weekend, he crushed the bones in his foot beyond repair, caught an infection and they had to amputate his foot. His addicitons grew worse over the years, and he lost his job with WWF and was sent to rehab. He was on his way to jail when he killed himself on his father's ranch.

To answer the question, in my opinion he would not have beaten Triple H or the Rock in his prime (although they would have made for some good matches), but would have beaten Orton and Cena.

Pro wrestling, as you no doubt know, is "booked" ahead of time. Who beats who is a matter of who the "bookers" (the creative staff) want to win.

Now, if you're saying that Von Erich can technically *outperform* the wrestlers you named, in terms of athleticism, in terms of the ability to improvise and perform entertaining "spots," in terms of winning over the crowd's support and recognition of his abilities, then you've got an argument. But the issue of who gets pinned for a three-count or submits has nothing to do with how "good" a wrestler is.
