There's several stages to making your own website.

1) Design

Come up with a design on paper. When trying to make a website, it's much easier to work out the layout and design if you've got a very clear idea of what you want it to look like.

2) Development

Depending on the complexity of the website you want to make there are many different languages/technologies you might need to learn how to use. At the most basic level, you'll need to learn a markup language. If you want to learn how to do it properly, remember that markup is only meant for laying out different sections of the document. This is referred to as symantic markup. The best (and most compatible) markup language is probably XHTML 1.0. For layout and design (ie, what the page looks like) you should learn CSS (which stands for Cascading Style Sheets).

For more advanced websites, you should learn some sort of scripting language. Scripting can run both server-side (on the web server) or client side (runs in the browser). For server side scripting, a free one is PHP. For client side scripthing the most standard one out there is Javascript (vaguely related to Java, but hardly at all).

The best place to learn about all these technologies is http://www.w3schools.com/

Once you've created the webpage, you'll need to make it available to the public. To do that you'll need two things, a domain name, and a webserver somewhere. Webhosting is probably cheapest in America, and a quick google search will usually bring up some excellent webhosts. If you can though, check out the user forums on their websites to see what clients are saying.

Hope this helps

Just click the link below. And click on the free website option. This is a free webspace provided by Yahoo geocities. Then you can create ur webpage.

Or else you can also create it using HTML. Just goto www.w3schools.com
There you can find tutorials for HTML. By learning HTMl u can design ur own webpage. Then u can load it in Yahoo geocities or U should find for someother websites which provide free / paid webspace for loading ur webpage.

Yahoo has websites... http://geocities.yahoo.com

It has lots of template.. just fill in the blanks.. you also can hire someone to create you one. However people who don't have time to learn something new are now, using places like yahoo 360 or msnspace or myspace to post pictures of themselves and keep a blog. Try them.. they are easy to use.. and keeping webmasters like yours truly out of work. smile :)
