A British band claims to have set the world record by playing a gig at the world's highest altitude - above Mount Everest's Base Camp. The Hidden said they performed at 5,545m at Kalar Pattar last month. The 40-minute concert, in front of about 100 mountaineers, was to raise money for children victimised by armed conflict in Nepal.
Previously, the record for World's Highest Gig was a 1994 Phish concert at the Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Define your terms: is a concert live music for a audience or does the audience have to buy get a ticket and show up at the venue?
Have any of the people in a spaceship sung a song that was broadcast back to earth and would that qualify?
