I am probally alot older then you . I graduated in 1987. But some of the best love songs came from the 70" and 80"s.
Find a free lyrics sight and type in artist such as
Chicago, reo speed wagon, Air supply, carpenters, brian adams
These artist had some of the all time favorite love songs.
Have you heard of that one by the carpenter. Top of the world?
There is wonder in most everything I see
Not a cloud in the sky
Got the sun in my eyes
And I won’t be surprised if it’s a dream
Everything I want the world to be
Is now coming true especially for me
And the reason is clear
It’s because you are here
You’re the nearest thing to heaven that I’ve seen
(*) I’m on the top of the world lookin’ down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I’ve found ever since you’ve been around
Your love’s put me at the top of the world
Something in the wind has learned my name
And it’s tellin’ me that things are not the same
In the leaves on the trees and the touch of the breeze
There’s a pleasin’ sense of happiness for me
There is only one wish on my mind
When this day is through I hope that I will find
That tomorrow will be just the same for you and me
All I need will be mine if you are here
Repeat (*) twice

My favorite isn't really a song. It's an instrumental piece. But I have several suggestions. My fave is a piece by Santo and Jonnie called, "Sleepwalk" (if you've ever seen La Bamba, it's the last song played in the movie. Very moving, but a little melancholy. I think it's beautiful, though. The other suggestions I have are a little cliche, but romantic nonetheless. What about: "At Last" by Etta James or-"Just My Imagination" by The Temptations. Those are my faves.

"Mltr I'm Gonna Be Around lyrics"
It's been so long since we took the time
to share words from deep inside us
We're in our own world spinning our wheels
but you know how I feel
Well since the first time I took your hand
my love for you has just been growing
You always seem to understand
You know how I am
Chorus:
I'm gonna love you til the end
I'm gonna be your very true friend
I wanna share your ups and downs
I'm gonna be around
When you're alone and I'm away
don't be sad don't be afraid
I'm gonna turn my thoughts to you
like I always do
Chorus:
I'm gonna love you til the end
I'm gonna be your very true friend...
Catch you when you fall
Hold you when you're down
Sharing every moment
I wanna show you all I do
I believe I've found a miracle in you
Chorus:
I'm gonna love you til the end
I'm gonna be your very true friend...

there is a few i can think of there's you lay a whole lot of love on me by shania twain and midnight train to georgia by gladys and the pips. this song means that you'd rather be with someone in their other than being alone in yours. bith are good songs that i think can resemble your marrage from what i read.
