How intense is the drop or dip? I know the rest of the ride is slow i just need to know if its steep or not cuz my lil sis hates steep drops.

The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is not bad at all, the drop is very mild. It's only a few feet, not steep at all, and feels like a second. You don't even get wet. She'll love the ride, I'm sure. If you've ever been on Maelstrom in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, or have heard of it, it's basically just like that, except pirate-themed. There's just one small hill to go down.

No, its not steep. Not to mention, Disney World has fewer drops than Disneyland in California (2 as opposed to 3-4 drops). In Florida, imagineers hit the water table right away. Your cousin will be fine. It's a really fun ride.

It is not bad at all, you can hardly even tell it is there. It's basically like riding or a medium size hill on the road, maybe a little tickle in your tummy, but nothing serious.
To give you an idea, there is nothing on the ride to restrain you. They would have to restrain you if it is going to be "wild" To give you another idea, on a recent trip to Disney, a child in front of me, probably 4 or 5, didn't sit still during the ride. He was standing while we went on the dip, it didn't even disturb him at all.
Your sister should be fine, it is a really easy going ride!

It's not bad, a little surprising because it is very dark and you don't expect it..but it's not bad. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 1.5 compared to an 8 for Tower of Terror.

Trust me, I hate drops like that to. Haven't been on that ride many times in my life, but it was definitely not bad at all when I went.

Unless they've changed it, it's pretty calm. The scenery is great. There used to be a bridge with a pirate sitting on it, and I swear, his leg hanging over it looked real!

It is a really easy dip. Its not a hill or anything its just like a small dip. Its really gentle.

It is not bad at all. Took my oldest son on it when he was 19 months old and again when he was 4. He loved it.
