I live in Milwaukee, WI. I have off next week. No plans. Where should I go? 3-4 days alone, preferably by car.

take the Manitowok to Ludington ferry drive down the west coast of Michigan to Holland and Saugatuk down to the dunes come back up through Chicago to home. (or take the trip in reverse)

I also live in Milwaukee :-). Well anytime I have a couple of free days I love going to Chicago, its such a great city! There are tons of things to do. Its also depends on what kind of getaway your looking for. Relaxation or party time? If you looking to party Chicago has some of the hottest night clubs ever! Be more detailed Im in to help.

Check out the Dells. Always something to do there, if you don't mind the crowds. Otherwise, head up to Price County, WI. They've recently investigated the northwoods for Bigfoot.

Failing that, check out Isle Royale in the Michigan Lakes region. They've a sanctuary for moose and wolves there.

I was in St Louis not too long ago, and it's a fun town.
They have a good art museum, zoo, history museum.. all free.
The Arch is very cool to visit.

About the farthest south you can drive in one day is Memphis.
Farthest West is about Omaha/Lincoln.
Farthest east is Cleveland, Pittsburgh if you push.

Best advice: Pick a place you have never been to.

Me too! Although I have plans - house stuff.

You know what I would do is just get in the car and drive all around the state. See every part of it.

Just get a map of Wisconsin and plan a route which you can roughly follow. If you get lost, no worries.

come to minneapolis. Catch a twins game stay downtown. Go to the clubs and get some women. Maybe go to valley fair thats like a six flags. or go to cantebury downs horse track. we also have many casinos. Minneapolis is a great town
