What a strange question....
So strange I actually looked it up and sorry, no. Can't find anything on the subject... I don't even think that they themselves ever mentioned much about their sex lives either....
The following anecdote comes from
http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~vu/vnsa/1997/vnsa29/msg00056.html

The British weekly, New Statesman, once recalled a true-life incident to
warn against linguistic adventurousness.

At a lunch at the end of World War II, Winston Churchill apparently asked
Madame de Gaulle what she was most looking forward to in peacetime France.

"A penis," she replied.

"What?" barked an astonished Churchill.

His guest repeated that what she wanted most, now that the war was over,
was "a penis".

While the table waited in stupefied silence, her husband leapt gallantly
to his spouse's rescue.

"I think, my dear," rumbled the great General de Gaulle, "the English
pronounce it 'appiness!"

I think their original fondness and subsequent rejection of each other was exclusively on political grounds. To cut a long story short, Churchill wanted the allies forces to stand together and so started utterly distrusting de Gaulle partly because he thought de Gaulle had a secret agenda he kept from the other allied leaders. He also thought de Gaulle too megalomaniac, for want of a better word and was concerned that France might become an antocratically run country with de Gaulle at its head and little room for democracy in the way that Churchill intended it after the war.
It's hard to assess how well founded Churchill's concerns were but they thankfully failed to materialised.
Out of curiosity, where did you see that?

Both Churchill and de Gaul were married men with children so I think it highly unlikely that either were gay. Consider that both were political men and it they were gay it would have come out in the media and been used by their political opponents against them. As an aside why is it that there is a movement to claim that so many great historical figures as being gay? Lincoln has been claimed as gay by some as well as Baron Von Steuben. Have you ever noticed that gay activists never try to claim that Hitler was gay? True, he did marry Eva Braun but only on the day he croaked himself. If you are looking for a gay leader in World War Two Hitler is probably your best bet,,, but who would want to claim the little coward? The problem is that if you can claim Lincoln or Churchill as one of your own, despite the total lack of evidence in support of such a notion, then some trouble maker,,,that would be me, is going to come along and assign Hitler to your team. Hows about we all just forget trying to rewrite history in order to make political and social points today.
